APPLICATION INFORMATION

Because the areas of support are under continual review, applicants are strongly advised to submit a letter of inquiry prior to applying for a grant. Please do not query or apply until you have carefully reviewed the Grantmaking Guidelines.

This letter should contain sufficient information to allow the board of directors to determine whether the request lies withinthe areas of preferred interest or perhaps warrants consideration as a special project. Applicants should be specific about the purpose of the proposed grant and the means by which it will support the project. The Foundation conducts its business affairs with a small staff, and detailed responses are sometimes delayed. Applicants who have not received a response to their letter of inquiry within a reasonable time may feel free to follow-up by mail only. No telephone inquiries will be accepted.

Restrictions or Limitations on Awards

Notes
Applications sent by fax, by e-mail, or without a self-addressed stamped envelope will not be considered.

Information on the status of applications will not be provided by telephone.

To assist the Foundation in determining how grantseekers find out about funding opportunities, all applications should indicate how the applicant found out about the Christensen Family Foundation (i.e., newspaper, magazine, nonprofit directory, Internet website, etc.).
